End-User License Agreement (EULA)
Please read this End-User License Agreement carefully before connecting your QuickBooks Online account or using the IRD Tax Invoice Generator service.
- Purpose: This application ("IRD Invoice") connects with your QuickBooks Online account to fetch invoice details and generate Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Department (IRD) compliant Tax Invoices with accurate 18% VAT calculations.
- Intuit Integration: We connect strictly via Intuit's official OAuth 2.0 framework with your explicit consent. You may revoke access at any time.
- Tax Responsibility: IRD Invoice provides template formatting and calculation assistance. You and your certified tax advisors remain solely responsible for the legal accuracy of your tax filings and IRD compliance.
- No Resale of Data: We never sell, lease, or monetize your financial or company data.
1 Acceptance of Terms
This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is a legally binding contract between you (either an individual or a single legal entity, referred to as "User", "You", or "Licensee") and the operators of IRD Invoice ("Licensor", "We", "Us", or "Our").
By clicking "Connect QuickBooks", accessing, installing, or otherwise using this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not access or use the application.
2 License Grant & Permitted Scope of Use
Subject to your continuous compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to:
- Access and use the IRD Invoice web application via authorized web browsers;
- Authorize the application to connect to your QuickBooks Online company account via OAuth 2.0;
- Retrieve sales invoice records from your QuickBooks Online tenant solely for formatting and rendering Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Department (IRD) compliant Tax Invoices;
- Generate, preview, and download official PDF tax invoices for your legitimate business accounting and tax filing needs.
3 QuickBooks Online & Intuit Integration
The application operates as an external integration with the QuickBooks Online API provided by Intuit Inc. By connecting your QuickBooks company, you expressly grant IRD Invoice permission to:
- Access basic company profile information (Company Name, Address, Currency) to populate supplier metadata on invoices;
- Read sales invoices, line item descriptions, unit rates, quantities, discounts, and customer identifiers required to produce IRD-compliant tax documents;
- Obtain and refresh OAuth 2.0 authorization tokens on your behalf in accordance with Intuit's Developer Standards.
QuickBooks Online Disconnection
You maintain full control over your QuickBooks Online data connection. You may disconnect the integration at any time by clicking the "Disconnect" button in the application header or by revoking application access directly within your Intuit Account / QuickBooks Online App Management dashboard.
